Q: |
What will I get out of doing this program? |
A: |
When you complete Awaken Your Warrior you will have a firm and workable plan to achieve whatever triumph you establish for yourself in the program. This plan will not be hypothetical or general, it will be a specific plan that focuses on the unique skill sets that you need to develop and expand in order to exceed your expectations. It will include specific, do-able actions, measurable results and a balanced, inspiring structure. Along the way to designing this plan, you will: |
•
identify the barriers that are likely to pop up along the way |
•
understand the natural, invisible machinery that is sabotaging your effectiveness |
•
articulate a powerful and inspiring purpose for your life |
| • |
invent an ally, your WarriorSelf, that will infuse your plan with energy, willfulness and integrity |

Q: |
Who should do the program? |
A: |
Anyone who: is sick and tired of settling for what you get in life; has had enough with excuses and justifications about why the things you want stay out of reach; is frustrated by trying over and over to get out of a rut; has big goals and is determined to accomplish them; refuses to settle for anything less than the best life has to offer. |

Q: |
What’s up with this “warrior” name? Is this some kind of macho-testosterone-physical-bad-ass kind of thing? |
A: |
In the world of marketing, the word “Warrior” has come to suggest a kind of fierce combatant, or a dominant physical human force, usually well-muscled and stern-looking, covered in sweat. That is NOT what we’re talking about. The central Warrior model we use in this program is derived from the teachings of Miyamoto Musashi. Musashi was a 17th century Japanese Samurai master who became a legendary swordsman, artist, sculptor and teacher in his own lifetime, and for centuries after his death. A central guiding principle for Musashi was seeking “the path to one’s own enlightenment”. At the core of the true warrior is an unshakable commitment to this enlightenment. He also believed that the essence of the warrior consisted of iron will, indomitable spirit, fierce courage, love of truth, and passion for one’s craft. In Musashi’s view, it didn’t matter what you did (artist, poet, shopkeeper, teacher, doctor), there was a core way of being -- the being of a warrior -- that elevated one’s actions to an extraordinary level. This program focuses on the way of being. How you choose to unleash that power is up to you. |

Q: |
Is this the same program that is delivered in live courses? |
A: |
Yes. Of course, there are differences because we don’t have anyone talking right to you and answering questions. But, I’ve taken that into account. Awaken Your Warrior – Home Study Course included the same information as I deliver at my live courses. In fact, I used the exact time-lines that I used in live courses to design this course. When necessary, I’ve added in more detail and explanation to make sure that each point is clearly communicated. To support your participation, I have several options available to give you more personal coaching, which I discuss in the next question. |

Q: |
Can I get live coaching or attend a live course or tele-seminar? |
A: |
When you receive you first lesson, I will include a link to my Warrior Coaching page on the AwakenYourWarrior.com website. On this page, you can submit questions regarding your specific concerns or obstacles. I only answer questions from people who are participating in the course, and this page is not linked to the other pages on my website. I receive updates from this page daily. While I can’t promise that I will answer every single question, I will do my absolute best. Also, approximately once a month, I will hold a free tele-conference. You will receive advanced notice of the call. On these calls, I discuss particular aspects of the Warrior Program, and if time permits, I take individual questions from callers. If you still need some personal attention, you can purchase a coaching package. Details about the coaching package are included in your lessons. |

I am also designing a 7-day retreat program, which will be delivered at a resort or on board a cruise ship. The first cruise course is tentatively scheduled for Spring, 2007. I will let you know when this program is ready for registration. |

Q: |
Is this program about religion or spirituality? |
A: |
Awaken your Warrior does not advocate any particular type of religious or spiritual practices. Part of our program asserts that YOU have a unique spiritual component and, whatever that is for you, it must be expressed in order for you to be fully alive and effective. We will ask you to spend some time looking at that and come up with ways that allow you to experience that part of yourself, but we won’t try to tell you what to do. |

Q: |
Is this program psychology? |
A: |
No. The Warrior Model is not based on psychology of any kind. Of course, like any model designed to inquire into human nature, there are some ways of looking at human behavior that Over the years, some of our graduates have told us that there are similarities between the Warrior model and the psychology model. but those similarities have more to do with the fact that we are both drawing on similar conclusions about human nature. some of our greatest supporters have been therapists who recognize the |
